The official Midsumma cruise after party was held at The Market Hotel on Commercial Rd, where New York DJ David Morales was playing a 4 hour set! So after docking just shy of midnight we made our way to The Market and met friends inside.

If you haven’t been before, the Market is the perfect venue when you are in the mood to head out with mates, no matter whether your agenda involves dancing, or having a catch up drink.

The downstairs dance floor area was packed with sexy bodies (and the stage portion actually raised and lowered intermittently through songs, sending the dance goers sky high!) as David pumped out sexed up r&b and commercial house tunes and the machines sprayed the dancefloor with white chemical ice (or something to that effect!). Upstairs was a little more chilled, with couches, a slightly sectioned off room, and balcony for smokers to retreat. Perfect for people still in ‘cruise’ mode to chill out.
