The successful rnb superclub series continues in 2008 with volume 8.0. Through the mixing (if you could call it that) of DJ Troy T and DJ Eko, rnb superclub Vol 8 delivers the greatest blend of the greatest new and renowned club tracks.

Presented by MC Jayson, this unique mix is delivered live throughout 20 of the country's leading venues. rnb superclub delivers the hits of Vol 8 nationally, from outback Melanka Bar Alice Springs to the packed house of Sydney's most prestigious club venue, Tank Nightclub.

Featuring the likes of Nelly, Bow Wow, Eve and Craig David, Disc 1 is an rnb lover’s playground. And proceeding the intro, it doesn’t get any bigger than Miss Christina Aguilera, with Slow Down Baby, automatically chased by Diddy feat. Sexy pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger (now that’s a back to back I would pay for ;)). The boys take us on an rnb rollercoaster, mixing male and female vocal and styles and interspersing the slower grooves in between the faster, lyrically heavier tracks (giving the overall up/down appeal).

Disc 2 continues in similar fashion with Che’Nelle’s I fell In Love With The DJ following MC Jayson’s intro. In a genre dominated by male talent it’s good to see the sexy ladies getting some play time as well, and they are top quality. But what is with Clothes Off by Gym Class Heroes? Yes, I get the mock nature of the song but going by previous attempts at that style, I’d have to say this song followed in their footsteps and it’s a big FAIL. We really could have done without it.

Thankfully that’s the only discretion on Disc 2 as the boys follow up with The Pussy Cat Dolls Wait a Minute, Akon’s Smack That, 50 Cent with In Da Club and personal favourite, Jagged Edge with Where The Party At to make this the better disc of the compilation.
